MONGA Sponsored Life Insurance Program (SSLI)

Program Highlights:

Is owned, sponsored, and administrated by MONGA.
Is authorized by Federal Law.
Coverage can begin at any time without regard to mobilization notifications.

Program Details:

SSLI coverage must begin before an individual separates from the National Guard.
If purchased prior to separation, coverage can continue after retirement or separation.
Membership in MONGA is not a requirement to purchase coverage.
Payments can be deducted from Leave and Earnings Statements (LES).
Multiple coverage options for service members, their spouses and dependents.
Coverage is available until age 70.

Additional Information:

All current serving service members are provided a $1,000 “no cost” death benefit from the association.
This is provided regardless of MONGA membership status or if the death is non-Guard related.
